But without YOU – one of the 1550 collectors bidding – there would be no auction…
So effectively what makes Universal Philatelic Auctions so different, indeed unique, is that UPA Client Collectors (and some dealers) also form a winning TEAM of bidders… and Teamwork pays at UPA.

More Collectors = Increased Scale = Increased Pay-Back for Everybody
This is a SCALE Loyalty System: We will review each auction – the more Collectors (and Dealers) that participate and WIN, the more generous the reward. This system started in UPA89, where we offered a £12 credit note for use in UPA90… but in future auctions there is the potential for this reward to increase as your loyalty increases!
If you were a successful bidder in UPA92 and won £80+,
we have added a £12 credit note to your account for UPA93!
(This will be applied to your invoice automatically, so don’t worry if you forget to remind us.)
How does this affect your bids in UPA93?
Let us give you a few examples…
If you spend £80 in the current auction, we will give you a £12 credit note for use in the next auction. This equates to a credit note worth 15% of your spend (if you were to spend exactly £80).
Example 1 You win lots in the auction that total £80 or more...
At the end of the auction, subject to enough bidders participating, we will add a £12 credit note to your account for use in UPA94.
Example 2 You bid in the auction, but you win lots that total less than £80…
At this point, you are not eligible for the loyalty-rewarded auction credit for next auction. However, you can purchase more lots in our Unsold Lots sale and top-up your overall spend in UPA93 to exceed £80. At the end of the auction, subject to enough bidders participating, we will add a £12 credit note to your account for use in UPA94.
Example 3 You either lose all your bids in the auction, or decide not to bid at all…
You can maintain your eligibility by ordering Unsold Lots that total £80 or more. At the end of the auction, subject to enough bidders participating, we will add a £12 credit note to your account for use in UPA94.
All bidders (including those bidding for the first time in UPA93) are eligible for this new reward system, subject to spending a minimum of £80 in UPA93.
